AZ Alkmaar
AZ Alkmaar last played on 23/4 and don't play again until 6/5. It should help them in the two games against us.

Got 2 hotel rooms for 2 nights (17th - 18th) just outside Amsterdam (Zaandam) if anyone is looking still. Paid £480 for them both combined but open to offers 👍🏻

I'd be inclined to say our fitness levels are considerably beyond AZ's. Also, (assuming we have the energy) we will press them in a way they don't get pressed in Cloggieland.

You may have a point. But I fear Moyes will help them much more than a rest ever could.

If ever Sullivan should interfere it's now . He has to warn that crapbag to stop flogging the players before this match we need probably another 1 or 2 points in the final 4 fixtures to stay up if we don't get them they need shooting. Along with Moyes .

Final consonants are unvoiced in standard Dutch, so Dutch for zed is said zeT.

Re: AZ Alkmaar
You pronounce the Z the same in Dutch as English, so ‘RZ’ is correct.

Re: AZ Alkmaar
English commentators annoy me, by pronouncing the A like the Dutch, and the Z as in English.

Pick either ay zed or ah zet, not a mixture. You halfway-house gits.

I keep wondering who the fuck RZ are.

Re: AZ Alkmaar
You can look at it one of two ways.

1) They will be very well rested and full of energy to run us off the park
2) They will have lost a bit of an edge to to not playing much vs us.

Complete toss up, I think. The one thing that's imperative is that our important players who are clearly running on fumes need a rest in one of our two games between now and then. Instead of managing the squad properly over the last two games, we are now forced to massively compromise one of them or substantially compromise both of them. I hope some common sense prevails and although I hate to say it, we just rest everyone vs City and take our medicine there. See how the man u game is going and if it's somehow comfortable or more likely a lost cause, take players off.

He's really ballsed this up, frankly. Overreached for the Liverpool game and now it's likely knackered players are going into that massive semi final game on a four game losing run.

Yep they have practically got an end of season break.

In the time between the Quarterfinals and the Semi Final we would have played 5 league matches and they will have played 2.

They are a decent side as well.
